CPaaS
Webex Connect (Cisco)
Cisco's CPaaS, built on the IMImobile platform it bought in 2021: messaging APIs, a visual flow builder and links into Webex Contact Center.
Enterprise messaging and flows from Cisco, sold mostly alongside its contact-centre products.
Cisco completed its acquisition of the UK company IMImobile in February 2021 and folded it into its contact-centre business; the platform is sold today as Webex Connect. It offers channel APIs for SMS, RCS, WhatsApp and Apple Messages for Business, SDKs for push, in-app and live chat, and a flow builder for multi-step journeys. A developer sandbox covers SMS, voice and WhatsApp; the other channels come with a full licence. Worth a look when your contact centre already runs on Webex.
