Conversational AI platform
Kore.ai
US platform for building AI agents and virtual assistants for customer and employee service, deployed on web, messaging apps, Teams and voice.
An enterprise conversational-AI platform named a Leader in Gartner's 2025 Magic Quadrant for Conversational AI Platforms.
Kore.ai sells a platform for designing, running and orchestrating AI agents. Its developer documentation lists channels including web, WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger, Microsoft Teams, Slack, SMS and voice (some through connectors such as Twilio). Its documentation publishes a pay-as-you-go plan billed per conversation with free starting credits, and an enterprise plan billed per session. It does not carry messages itself; it sits on top of your channels and contact centre. Worth a look for large, multi-channel automation programmes.
Where it shines
- One agent platform deployed across web, messaging apps, Teams and voice
- Usage plans and unit prices published in its documentation
Check before signing
- SMS and some voice channels connect through third-party providers such as Twilio, billed separately
- Its documentation lists standard support from USD 1,000 a month; and parts of the pricing docs differ on per-conversation versus per-session billing
