Verification and messaging APIs
Telesign
Verification, fraud-signal and messaging APIs, part of Proximus Global alongside Route Mobile and BICS.
Verification-first: one Verify API across several channels, backed by an operator group.
Founded in 2005 in California and now fully owned within the Proximus Group. Its Verify API combines SMS, silent verification, push, email, WhatsApp, Viber and RCS, and a separate Messaging API falls back to the next channel when a send fails. Worth a look when sign-up and login verification at scale, and the fraud that comes with it, is the main requirement.
Where it shines
- Several verification channels behind one Verify API
- Pay-as-you-go pricing with a free trial account
Check before signing
- The multi-channel Messaging API is for full-service accounts only, and RCS needs setup with support
- Viber OTP and transactional messages need registered templates from July 2026
